Xarelto
Xarelto (also known as Rivaroxaban) is an anticoagulant or blood thinner. Xarelto was originally approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to reduce the risk of blood clots in various patients. Unfortunately, one of the side effects from Xarelto is an increased risk of uncontrollable bleeding. Currently there is no way to reverse the effects of Xarelto.
If you or a loved one took the blood thinner Xarelto and suffered any of the following, please call our firm:
- Death from a bleeding event
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Cerebral hemorrhage
- Excessive menstrual bleeding
- Excessive nose bleeds
- Unexplained bruising, GI discomfort, blood in stool and/or urine, or
- An accident that led to hospitalization for uncontrollable bleeding
